What changed, and when
Every time an answer on this site moved, with the date and the reason. Our own errors are in here too, in the same type as everything else. Nothing is ever removed from this page: if an entry is wrong, it gets a later entry correcting it.

The 12 November preload was confirmed in June, and our register said it was not
The rumour register stamped the preload date reported and said Rockstar had not stated it directly. Take-Two's own pre-order press release of 24 June 2026 says digital pre-orders "will be able to begin pre-loading on November 12, 2026", and our own editions article quoted the same sentence. Two pages of this site disagreed for a month. The entry is now confirmed, with Take-Two named as the origin.

GamesBeat's first quarter of 2027 PC report gets its own register entry, graded reported
GamesBeat reported on 13 October 2026, citing four unnamed industry sources, that the PC version is planned for the first quarter of 2027. It is a different origin from the February 2027 social post and is graded separately. The status board answer does not move: no PC version is announced. The PC article gained a section on the report and on the 9 November Take-Two results, the first place it can be confirmed.

The launch trailer restated 19 November, and the whole board was re-checked
Rockstar released the launch trailer on 15 October 2026 with the line "Grand Theft Auto VI arrives November 19 to PlayStation 5 and XBOX Series X|S." Every status board row was re-read against its sources and none of the answers moved. The PC watch list gained the ESRB rating, which covers PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series only, and the 9 November Take-Two results date. RAGE:MP was re-read at 83 servers and 20,796 players.

RAGE:MP is twelve days past its own end of support and still serving 25,413 players
Its announcement of 25 May named Take-Two, set 1 June for closing the public server listing and 31 August for end of support. Both dates have passed. The listing answered at 11:30 UTC on 12 September with 143 servers and 25,413 players, a day after answering with 134 and 14,349. The second finding is the one nobody reports: English-tagged servers hold 233 of those players, 0.9 percent, against 21,801 on Russian-tagged servers, and one server holds 229 of the 233.

The roleplay beat got its first measurement, four days into nopixel V
Rockstar's roleplay beta opened on 8 September, the date its own Newswire post named in advance. We measured the English side of the GTA V Twitch category the same week: 26 English channels holding 16,270 viewers, of which 17 channels and 13,180 viewers are on nopixel. The nopixel Discord added 11,312 members in fourteen days while every other English roleplay community we track moved by a few hundred either way. The hour of the reading, the sample coverage and the three ways the method can be wrong are printed in the article.

The Rockstar and nopixel collaboration is a year older than we said
Our article opened on the Newswire post of 1 September 2026 as though that were the start of it. It was not. nopixel announced the project on 24 September 2025 as "created in collaboration with Rockstar Games", and Rockstar backed it the same day in its own words: "We’re excited to support the nopixel team as they create the future of GTA RP." The source was sitting in our own fact base recorded as unreadable, so nobody read it, and we found the story ten days late from the other end. A link check caught the address answering normally.

PS5 Pro is not a third launch platform
The board answered "PS5, PS5 Pro, Xbox Series X and S" and stamped it confirmed. Rockstar names two platforms, on its own page and in its pre-order post: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. "PS5 Pro Enhanced" is a badge Sony applies on Sony's store, and a PS5 Pro is a PlayStation 5 in any case. The answer is corrected, the register keeps the claim stamped reported, and the build now fails if anything stamps a PS5 Pro claim confirmed again.

Two delays, not three
An article headline, a register entry and our own verification file all said the release date had moved three times. An announced window plus two moves is two moves. The third was the March 2024 delay report, which was journalism rather than a change of date. All three places corrected and the article renamed.

The published definitions of the stamps were overstating
"Reported" was defined in the footer as "two independent sources, no official statement", and it was being printed over claims that had one. It now reads "a named publication asserts it, or the company's words reached us through someone else's page". "Confirmed" now says what it actually requires: read on a surface Rockstar or Take-Two publishes, or in a document they filed.

A second online question, because one was hiding the answer
The board asked whether GTA 6 has an online mode at launch, and answered "not announced". True, and incomplete: Rockstar's own filed grounds of resistance in a UK employment tribunal describe "an unannounced online service" with "the specific number of online players planned for this service". The board now asks both questions separately. At launch: unknown. Planned at all: yes, confirmed by Rockstar itself.

RAGE:MP added to the register, half true
RAGE:MP announced its own shutdown on 25 May 2026, with the server listing closing 1 June and end of support 31 August. We read the listing on 11 September, eleven days past that date: 134 servers, 14,349 players. The announcement is real, the shutdown as announced has not happened, and the half everyone repeats is the false half.

Board re-checked in full, nothing moved
Every answer on the board was re-fetched from its primary source by hand. None of them changed. Recorded here because "we checked and nothing moved" is a result, and a board whose dates only advance when the news is interesting is a board nobody can trust the dates on.
