Leonida

The state GTA 6 is set in, and the city at the middle of it. This page holds what Rockstar has published in its own words. The full reference section is not being built yet, and the reason is at the bottom.

In Rockstar’s words

The premise, as published

Vice City, USA. Jason and Lucia have always known the deck is stacked against them. But when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida, forced to rely on each other more than ever if they want to make it out alive.

Rockstar Games, the Grand Theft Auto VI product page. Read 11.09.2026 Confirmed

The state is Leonida. Not Florida. The fictional state, named by Rockstar.
The city is Vice City. Returning, and Rockstar calls it "the sunniest place in America".
Two leads, Jason and Lucia. Named on Rockstar's own page, in that order.
One section of the site is dedicated to the map. Rockstar's page carries a "People and Places" section headed "Only in Leonida", and has published no map.

Why the rest is not here yet

A reference section on this site would cover the map, the cast, the vehicles and the radio. We hold thousands of sourced facts on all four, and when we measured where those facts come from, about 15 percent of the whole fact base traces to a fan wiki, concentrated in exactly those subjects. Under our own rules a fan wiki is never better than "reported", so a vehicles page built from that material would be a restatement of the wiki with our stamps on it, and the stamps would be doing the opposite of their job.

On 19 November the game itself becomes the primary source, and a page verified in play is something no wiki-rewriter has. That is when this section gets built. Until then we would rather publish nothing here than publish that. The rules are on how this site works, and the things that can be answered today are on the guides page.
