Roleplay

GTA 6 roleplay does not exist yet

There are no servers, no frameworks and no announced mod support. This page tracks the two things that would have to happen first, and the dates on which we last checked them. It will get longer when there is something to report.

Unknown Dependency 1 of 2

A PC version

Roleplay has always run on PC. No PC release has been announced, and the 19 November date covers consoles only. February 2027 is a claim with a single origin, not a date. A GamesBeat report of 13 October 2026, from four unnamed sources, puts PC in the first quarter of 2027; we grade it reported, and Rockstar has not announced it.

Checked at source 17.10.2026: Rockstar’s product page, which names two platforms and no PC.

Changes if, a storefront page, a driver note or an official date appears

Unknown Dependency 2 of 2

A multiplayer framework

Servers need a multiplayer layer that tolerates third-party hosting, plus tooling that is not blocked. Rockstar has owned Cfx.re, which makes FiveM, since August 2023, and nothing has been said about either.

Checked at source 12.09.2026: the Cfx.re announcement of 11 August 2023, and its announcement board, which carries nothing about GTA 6.

Changes if, mod-capable tooling ships or is blocked

The roleplay questions

Checked 17.10.2026
  1. Is there a PC version?

    Not announced Unknown

No PC version has been announced and no storefront listing exists. For scale, Grand Theft Auto V reached PC roughly 19 months after its console release and Red Dead Redemption 2 roughly 13 months. That pattern points at late 2027 to 2028, which is our planning window and not a prediction. One report now points earlier: on 13 October 2026 GamesBeat wrote that Rockstar plans the PC version for the first quarter of 2027, citing four industry sources who asked not to be named, and Rockstar did not respond. A named publication asserting it makes the claim reported on our scale. It does not make it an announcement, and this row is about the announcement, so the answer stays where it is. The rumour register carries the report as its own entry, separate from the older February 2027 post.

  2. Will FiveM support GTA 6?

    No statement on record Unknown

Rockstar has owned Cfx.re, which makes FiveM and RedM, since August 2023. Neither has said anything about GTA 6 support. Ownership is a reason it is possible, not evidence that it is planned.

Changes if Cfx.re or Rockstar says anything at all about GTA 6 support

    Checked 17.10.2026

  3. Roleplay servers run on modified game clients. FiveM and every comparable framework are PC only, and console platform policy does not permit the client modification they require. This is a platform constraint, not a Rockstar decision, and nothing about GTA 6 changes it.

Changes if Console modding policy changes, which it has not in twenty years

    Checked 17.10.2026

  4. Do GTA 6 roleplay servers exist?

    None exist Confirmed

None exist and none are announced. Two things have to happen first: a PC version, and a multiplayer layer that tolerates third-party servers. Neither has happened. Any site listing GTA 6 roleplay servers today is listing inventory that does not exist.

Changes if A PC build ships and a multiplayer framework supports it
