How this site works
RPVICE covers Grand Theft Auto VI, with one standing beat that nobody else runs: roleplay. It is an independent fan project with no connection to Rockstar Games or Take-Two. Everything below is a rule we hold ourselves to, published so you can hold us to it too.
One claim, two separate questions
Most coverage answers one question: what is true. We answer two, and keep them in different columns, because they are different things. What the answer is, and how well we know it. A well sourced no and a guessed no both read as "no" everywhere else. Here they never look the same.
That is what every stamp on this site is. There are four of them and there will never be a fifth, because a scale nobody can hold in their head is a scale nobody reads.
- Confirmed
- Read on a surface Rockstar or Take-Two publishes, or in a document they filed.
- Reported
- A named publication asserts it, or the company’s words reached us through someone else’s page.
- Rumour
- One origin, repeated. Repetition is not corroboration.
- Unknown
- No evidence either way. We say so rather than guess.
Behind these four there is a longer list used in our own research files, nine labels that separate a Rockstar page from a Rockstar executive quoted by a magazine from a storefront listing. Only the four above ever reach a page, and the translation between them is written down and enforced by the build rather than decided by whoever is writing.
Where the facts come from
Nothing is published from memory. Every claim traces to a row in a research file that records the source URL and the date it was read, and before a page is written those rows are re-opened at the source. When a source cannot be reached, the row is marked unverified and it does not publish, however plausible it is.
The answer board was last re-checked in full on 17.10.2026. Each answer also carries its own check date, because they drift apart.
What we never publish
- Leaked material, in any form. We cover the fact that a leak happened, because that is news. We do not host it, mirror it, link to it or describe what it shows. A site that describes the footage is a mirror for the footage.
- Cheats, exploits, glitches and money methods for online play.
- Isolated cutscenes and endings. Story spoilers pulled out of context are not reporting.
- Generated artwork imitating the game. No AI images in Rockstar's style, no fake screenshots. Our images are our own typography and our own diagrams.
- The name of a private person attached to a job they have not confirmed. Rockstar has announced no cast for this game, and the names circulating come from a resemblance, an unnamed credit, a social media follow, or somebody making a portfolio private. When a performer identifies themselves, we report that, with the date and where they said it. Everything else stays out, and it stays out even if a name later turns out to be right: being accidentally correct about a stranger is not the same as having had grounds to print it.
- A date we cannot source. If the honest answer is that nobody knows, that sentence is the article.
Corrections
Corrections are published, not quietly edited. When an answer moves, the entry says what changed and on what date, and the old wording stays visible rather than being deleted. We have already corrected ourselves in public more than once, including on the platform list and on a delay count we got wrong in a headline, and those corrections are still on the pages where the errors were.
The reason is selfish as much as principled. A site whose only product is "how well is this known" cannot quietly rewrite the record, because the record is the product.
The record itself is a page: what changed, and when. Our own errors are at the top of it.
Who writes it
One byline, Evgeny. Research is assembled with software tools and checked against primary sources by hand before anything is published. Where a tool measured something, the page says what was measured and when.
RPVICE is an unofficial fan project. Not approved, sponsored or endorsed by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. We take no money from anyone covered here, and today we take no money at all: there is no advertising, no affiliate link and no sponsorship on this site. If that changes it will be disclosed on this page before it appears anywhere else.
