GTA 6 on PC: the watch list
There is no announced PC version, and no announced date for one. Rather than guess at when, this page lists every place an announcement would surface first, what is in each of them today, and when we last looked. When one of them changes, that is the news.

Take-Two’s quarterly product pipeline
Nothing thereA regulated disclosure that lists every title and its platforms, and demonstrably knows how to write the word PC: the same table names PC for other titles.
The table published with the 7 August 2026 results lists Grand Theft Auto VI as PS5 and Xbox Series X and S only. Take-Two has dated its next results for Monday 9 November 2026, after the market close, with the call at 4:30 pm Eastern: the next chance to see whether the table changes.

Rockstar’s own product page
Nothing thereThe first place a platform has ever been added.
Re-read 12 September 2026 in the page source rather than the rendering, because the platform names are not visible text: they sit in screen-reader labels and image alt text. Across 92,438 bytes: PlayStation 5 thirteen times, Xbox Series X and S five times, Windows zero, Steam zero, Epic zero.

Steam
Nothing thereA store page, even an empty coming-soon shell, appears months before a PC release and cannot be hidden.
No Grand Theft Auto VI entry of any kind.
-
PEGI and the other rating boards
Nothing thereA PC version needs its own rating, and ratings are public before release.
The game is now rated. The ESRB listing read on 17 October 2026 names two platforms, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, rates it M for Mature 17+, and does not list PC. Rockstar’s launch trailer post of 15 October 2026 carries the same descriptors. We have not re-queried the PEGI database since 29 August, when it answered "Found 0 results from your query".

Published system requirements
Nothing thereNobody with standing can publish a minimum spec for a build that is not planned.
None exist from Rockstar, Take-Two or any platform. Every requirements list in circulation is invented.
-
Rockstar job openings
Nothing thereA port needs a team, and teams are hired in public months ahead.
Re-read 12 September 2026: not one opening on rockstargames.com/careers names PC, Windows or a port. What the page does carry is two roles on the modding platform, "Senior Software Engineer, FiveM" and "Senior Manager, Product - Creator Platform", the second of which is product rather than maintenance. That is a signal about the roleplay platform, not about a PC build of GTA 6, and the two are easy to confuse.

What executives say
Says somethingNot evidence of a date, but the only place the intent is ever discussed.
Strauss Zelnick has never said there is no PC version. He has said console comes first, and that for a big title PC "can be 45, 50% of the sales". That is an argument about order, not about existence.
How long the last two took
- Grand Theft Auto Vabout 19 months after console
- Red Dead Redemption 2about 13 months after console
Two data points are a pattern to plan around and not a schedule to publish. They put a PC release somewhere in late 2027 or 2028 if the pattern holds, and the pattern holding is itself an assumption. We are not putting that on the board as an answer, and neither should anyone else. One report points earlier: on 13 October 2026 GamesBeat wrote, citing four unnamed sources, that the PC version is planned for the first quarter of 2027. The register grades it reported, not confirmed.
Why this page is on a GTA site at all
Because it is the gate for the thing this site is named after. Every roleplay framework hooks a Windows install, so the PC date is also the earliest possible date for GTA 6 roleplay. The dependency chain is on the roleplay hub, the mechanism is in what has to happen before FiveM could support GTA 6, and the full argument about the PC question is in is there a GTA 6 PC version.
